That time of year is fast approaching.

I have spent most of this week doing things for the festive season. It must be my age but it really does come around incredibly fast. I am Chairman of Ambleside Christmas Lights Committee and we are hard at work organising our big switch on day on the 20th November. For the next four Sundays myself and other commmittee members will be putting the lights up from 6am!
Also this week I have been working with John our Head Chef to out together some Christmas and New Year Menus. By the time it comes I'll be sick to death of it.
Looking forward to the half term, taking an extra day off with the Kids. I am hoping for some weather as I have been promising to take them up Scafell Pike all year.
The Winter season is nearly on us, we all look forward to a slightly gentler pace and parking in Ambleside is so much easier!
