John our head chef has made a speedy recovery after having a hip replaced in February. He starts back on Tuesday much to the relief of his team.
Craig, John's second in command has done a fantastic job holding the fort. Luckily Mike Hayden our orginal Head Chef was available to help out in John's absence. Mike is in the middle of selling his house and emigrating to New Zealand with Sally his partner who is expecting a baby in September. It's been great to have him back. Craig and the lads have really enjoyed his company and being from Bolton with a wicked lancastrian sense of humour its been great to have him around.
Craig is the one on the left, he's from Carlisle and is a very keen fellwalker. Mike is centre and on the right is Shamek from Poland who has been with us nearly 2 years and lives with his girlfriend and baby daughter in Ambleside.
Jason is on holiday, currently motorcycling to Italy with a friend where they will then meet up with their wives and children. I hope all arrangements go smoothly as there could be alot of tension around Lake Como if they don't!
