It's Holiday time

We are right in the middle of the School holidays and the weather has been as mixed as the last 2 years, yet still we have the hose pipe ban! The kids have been learning to Sail this week. I went with them as a helper on Monday and had a great time, none of us had tried sailing before and after 5 days the kids are really hooked having past their level 1 sailing grade.
Kendal's new £200m shopping complex has finally opened and I have heard great reports and I am sure they have had the best possible start with this mixed weather!
A family friend Rebecca Robinson ran the Marathon for team GB in Barcelona at the weekend and got a bronze medal. Rebecca really is amazing as her day job is a Doctor in the very busy Hospital on the West Coast working all hours and yet she still manages to train and represent her Country at the highest level. Well done and let's hope she is still performing as well in 2012!
It's our annual family holiday next week, I will be looking forward to the break when I get back to work the following week!
