Our new receptionists blog

Hi everyone, my name is Gill and I'm the new receptionist at the Regent and Andrew's asked me to write a blog as I've just completed my 3 months here.
I've lived in Ambleside all of my life, my husband is a manager at The Climbers Shop in town, and we are both very happy to have made our home here. On our days off we like to go fell walking so may bump into you whilst strolling along Loughrigg terrace!
The reception team consists of Karen - who oversees the rest of the team and helps us run a smooth operation here at reception. Helen whom many of you know and ask for personally, works on Fridays and Saturdays and always looks forward to seeing new and regular customers. Radana coordinates for your arrival, such as checking the rooms are at our high standards and for your special occasions she organises your room with flowers, chocolates and champagne. Fiona works behind the scenes aswell as upfront,she maintains the technical side of the operations such as updating the websites and their content.
All of the girls have helped me to settle in and I look forward to taking your reservation and meeting you when you check in.
