the LAKES are back on TV

Happy New Year. We are back to normal just got the decorations down and it all starts over again. We are all busy planning for the year ahead with new menus and some major refurbishment on the ground floor starting at the front of the hotel and continuing into the restaurant and bar creating a new fresh look and feel for 2011.
Having a few days away next week like everyone should at this time of year. It's such a struggle to get up on these cold dark mornings . Looking out the snow is on top of the fells where it should be not in the valley bottoms and the skies are clear making the Lakes look really majestic.
I saw that the programme "THE LAKES" started again on Monday. It is quite entertaining and some of the characters they have including my Barber Andrew Motorium he is a local Wildlife expert and worth watching. It has come just at the right time of year to hopefully help give us a good start to the season ahead
