After settling in come down to the lounges for afternoon tea.
Our evening begins with a round of delicious canapes and welcoming glass of bubbly to wet your appetite whilst you ponder the menu and wine list.
Choose from our our dinner menu that comprises of all our favorites from smoked salmon to locally sourced Lakeland beef and some special dishes for New Years Eve
Then after dinner you can venture in to Ambleside village and soak the New Year atmosphere in one of the local cosy Inns or have a moonlit stroll around Waterhead bay before returning to the hotel bar at midnight for a glass of fizz to welcome in the New Year with fellow guests before returning to the comfort of your room and snuggling down in our soft, fluffy duvets.
New Years Day in and around Amblside and Lake Windermere
Indulge in a couple of extra hours in bed after the night's celebrations and make the most of our Lakeland Brunch. Then reap the benefits of our central Lake District location and explore our award-winning landscape - perhaps a lake cruise or a leisurely stroll, or loosen those purse strings and hit the January sales in Ambleside's gorgeous boutiques and galleries.
Of course, the quiet of the hotel is also an option should your New Year start with a bit of a hangover!
Join us in the lounges again for afternoon tea and why not have a go at the Regent quiz.
Then in the evening have a relaxing dinner choosing from our seasonal menu including some of our favorite dishes including beef in Cumbrian Bitter and local Grizedale Forrest game. Relax after dinner with a warming dram and a cosy night with our fellow guests
