24th July – Coffin, Caves and Crags Guided Walk, 10.30 am, Tourist Information, Ambleside.
25th July – Penrith Agricultural Show, formed in 1833 promoting livestock breeding.
25th-26th July- The Cumbrian Steam Gathering, Cumbria steam & Vintage Vehicle Society, Flookburgh.
30th July – Ambleside Sports Day, a traditional Lakeland sports day.
31st july- Ambleside Country Market, every Friday.
