    Time to Relax

If you’ve had an exciting day out exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District it’s always good to take those walking boots off and relax! There is a huge amount of culture and entertainment to explore across the Lake District, in particular we have some fantastic theatres and cinemas to offer!

Theatre by the Lake- This charming theatre situated in the beautiful Keswick showcases an array of talent throughout the whole year!

The Old Laundry Theatre- A short drive away from The Regent Hotel in Bowness, the theatre is set ‘in the round’ with just 270 seats! Over the past two decades the theatre has hosted the talents of Alan Carr, Jenny Eclair, Victoria Wood and Sue Perkins!

The Brewery Arts Centre- Complete with two cinemas, a drama studio, galleries, theatre and a restaurant/bar, the Brewery always provides a fantastic evening of entertainment! There are many highlights this month in the theatre including Matthew Bourne’s ‘Car Man’ and ‘Three Keepers’, a silent comedy about duty, bravery and biscuits!

Zeffirellis- Right on our doorstep, the cinema Zeffirellis screens the latest releases across five screens, (and does tasty italian food!)

The Royalty Cinema- Showing a range of the latest releases and silent films, the royalty provides a great relaxing evening and is just a short distance from us in Bowness!
